Stevenvsnothingness is a visual artist, musician, and poet whose work drips of dreams and reeling realities.
His artwork and animations blend haunting textures, fragmented figures, and symbols that feel simultaneously ancient and futuristic as they glitch across the screen in psychedelic noir. His words whirl wild and desolate on the page. And his music — inspired by noise, triphop, folk, and alternative rock — dissolves the listener into rhythms of existential bliss, roaring despair, and all the humanity in between.
On his latest release, Paradisal Fizzle Void, Steven embraced an improvisational process: all the music and lyrics were written, performed, and recorded simultaneously using guitar, vocal effects, loopers, and drum machine pedals. Every track is a singular moment— raw, unrepeatable, and alive.
The improvisational ethos mirrors the larger artistic vision of Stevenvsnothingness: to create in each moment from and against the all-consuming abyss that blooms us all.
